About This Product
Hand-carved from a single block of Kadamb (Burflower) wood, this standing elephant showcases the artisan’s most demanding skill — true jaali, or openwork lattice. Its ceremonial drape is pierced right through the wood in delicate honeycomb bands, framed by scalloped scale patterns, ornamental leaf borders and a floral rosette on the ear, so light passes cleanly through the carving. Cutting this filigree from solid wood without a single break takes exceptional patience, making each piece a small feat of craftsmanship. Sealed with a soft matte polish that lets the warm honey grain glow, its airy, intricate presence makes it wonderfully versatile — equally at home as desk branding, in interior design and home decor, as a corporate gift, or as a showcase and exhibition centrepiece. As each one is individually carved, no two are ever alike.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this product handmade?
Yes. Each elephant is carved entirely by hand by skilled Jaipur artisans from a single block of wood, so every piece is unique.
What material is it made from?
It is carved from Kadamb wood, also known as the Burflower tree — a fine-grained wood prized for detailed hand-carving.
What is jaali (lattice) carving?
Jaali is intricate openwork carving in which the design is pierced completely through the wood to create a lattice or net-like pattern. Cutting it from solid wood without breaking the delicate bridges is one of the most difficult carving techniques.
What sizes are available?
Standard sizes are 3, 4, 5 and 6 inches. Larger pieces up to 12 inches can be made on demand.
Do you offer bulk pricing?
Yes. Single pieces are ₹700 each. For bulk orders with a minimum order quantity of 50, the price is ₹500 per piece.
Can the piece be customised?
Yes, side customisation is available, and we accept both single-piece and bulk orders.
How do I care for it?
Dust gently with a dry, soft cloth or a soft brush to reach the openwork, and keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve the natural grain.
